Kyle Wiltjer:
Position: PF
Year: Freshman
Height: 6-9
Weight: 239
Game: Wiltjer has been compared to Kevin McHale. The kids got an old school game with a shooting touch that would make (insert sexual pun here. Ex. “make Megan Fox quiver”). He apparently plays with his back to the basket (an extinct style in the NBA) with a low post arsenal, and shoots outside as well. Wiltjer has 20 pounds on Davis and may be expected to play defense on other opposing, larger centers.
Strength: 3-pt shooting, low post moves, and I’ve heard he is a good passer.
Weakness: Athleticism and defense. I also doubt that he will be able to keep up with Teague and company when they run the fast break. But maybe he can be their Kevin Love. He is already white, so he’s halfway there.
Fun Tidbit: Wiltjer is white.
Stacey Poole:
Position: SG
Year: Sophomore
Height: 6-4
Weight: 200
Game: Sitting
Strength: Warming the bench
Weakness: motor
Fun Tidbit: I don’t enjoy writing about Poole because he sucks and there is no point. I have no evidence he will make any impact this year, and I hope he realizes what a waste his scholarship is.
Anthony Davis:
Position: C/PF
Year: Freshman
Height: 6-10
Weight: 220
Game: Everyone knows the story by now; Unibrow had a huge growth spurt to be the extremely tall and lanky. Today he looks like four sticks coming out of one stick. He’s got guard skills in a Power Forward’s body. Most people are comparing him to Kevin Garnett, but I think he’ll be more like Kevin Durant. If he has the handles and shot everyone says he has, he will be able to play much more like Durant than Garnett. Kentucky needs a Shaq though. We just do not have the ‘bruiser’ or ‘banger’ inside that we need. I’m glad to have Davis though. In high school he lost most of his games, while leading his team in points, rebounds and blocked shots. He takes defense personally, already proclaiming himself as the ‘Defensive Player of the Year.’ And I love it! I’ll gladly watch him race John Henson for more blocks this year. He can also create for teammates. OMG I’M DROOLING!
Strength: With an extremely long and tall body, Davis still has guard-like abilities. And he has great motivation to be the best. He always had to work to be the best, but now that he’s been blessed with the body he doesn’t want to waste it. (Which is in contrast to Renardo Sidney who got the body and gave up. Or Vince Carter who got the talent but never wanted it.)
Weakness: Davis does not have enough weight to keep other Center’s out of the lane.
Fun Tidbit: Davis turned down a 1v1 matchup against a 5’4 asian kids named Louis Ta.

Harsh words for Poole.
Also, white people are allowed to play basketball?
